SEPTEMBER 2019 UPDATES

For the new school year, the government has

produced a finalised version of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2019. There are not significant changes since the draft in June. Please see my blog from June for details of the changes since the 2018 version. However, beware that are rumours that there will be a further update later this year post Brexit.

updated the OFSTED guidance on Inspecting Safeguarding in Early Years,  Education and Skills settings. The content remains the same as the draft version issued in May, though a paragraph resetting between paragraphs 4 and 5 changes the page numbers for much of the document.
